The scheme supports the installation of biomass-fuelled heat and combined heat and power projects in the industrial, commercial and community sectors.

Interest Free Energy-Efficiency Loan

The Carbon Trust Energy Efficiency Loans Scheme provides interest free, unsecured loans to businesses to allow them to invest in equipment to allow energy savings. Slightly different conditions apply in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, but loans can be from £5,000 to £100,000 (£400,000 in Northern Ireland), and are repayable over a period of up to 4 years.

Low Carbon Building Program
